Women in Manufacturing Stepping Up Advance Program
This program provides learning opportunities for women in manufacturing to foster best-practice and help increase competitiveness, growth, job creation and sustainability of manufacturing in New South Wales.
Participating businesses will benefit by:
• Obtaining an understanding an appreciation of modern operations and supply chain management, concepts and practices
• Improving their own operations through the application of newly-acquired knowledge and skills
• Building a strong network of manufacturing professionals.
The program will run for six months, commencing February 2010 and concluding June 2010 and will consist of both an educational, training-based component and a mentoring component.
The program participation costs $3,000 plus GST per company, however eligible companies are subsidised by Industry and Investment NSW, a sum of $1500 plus GST.
